Public media are… representative

Being excluded from media can be deeply harmful, especially to communities who are already marginalised. Public media should be representative of the publics that they serve – making sure different groups are visible and represented fairly, but also supporting the full diversity of society to tell their own stories, highlight their struggles, and fight for equality.
